Official Release of Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) with Infinity Displays.

Samsung launches its latest Mid-Range line-up Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) & Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) with Infinity displays. Samsung was supposed to launch the phones during 2018 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) on January 9 in Las Vegas but the phone goes official yesterday.

Both the phones Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) look gorgeous with FHD+ Super AMOLED screens in 18:5:9 aspect ratios with a higher pixel density. The upper end of the mid-range A8+ (2018) include up to 6GB RAM and 64GB Internal storage.The A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) are slightly taller, wider and thicker as well as weigh more than their high end of the Samsung flagship devices. The A8 (2018) & A8+ (2018) features 5.6 and 6 inches screen size which is can’t quite match with the compact excellence of the 5.8 and 6.2 inch Galaxy s8 and S8+. But it still it looks gorgeous with fairly reasonable prices with the curved glass on the back and front which is very elegant to hold with the smooth curves.

Both the phone aside from the gorgeous display, the two also shares a single 16MP rear-facing camera with f/1.7 aperture & dual 16MP plus 8MP selfie cameras capable of shooting beautiful portrait shots. The fingerprint scanner location is shifted to the back of the phone just below the camera which is more comfortable to use. The phones will be running on android 7.1.1 software with a brand new Exynos 7885 octa-core processor.

The Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) will pack 3,000mAh and 3,500mAh batteries respectively. Other features that both the devices will be featuring are IP 67 water & dust resistance, USB-C charging port, Samsung pay along with usual sensors.
The variant of the Samsung A8 (2018) will be offered with a 4GB RAM with either 32GB or 64 GB RAM internal storage. The Samsung A8+ (2018) will be offered with a 4GB or 6GB RAM with either 64GB or 128GB internal storage option.

The price of the phones are not yet confirmed but is rumored to be launched within $400 to $500 (~RS 30,000 to RS 35,000) price bracket. As far as the availability is concerned, all we know that the two phones will arrive in early January 2018.
